Bookworms will be very happy browsing the new and used bookstores in Barcelona, whether they prefer a generic bookstore or one that specializes in a particular genre. Most bookstores have an English language section, but you’ll also find a couple of dedicated English language bookstores in the city.
Here are the spots that made our list:
Casa del Libro: This is a wonderful bookstore where you can find books in many different languages. It is quite large, so you are unlikely to struggle to find something that you like. Even if you don’t end up finding something you think you will enjoy, you can ask a member of staff to order it for you, and once it has arrived in store, they will let you know!
Address: Passeig de Gràcia, 62, 08007 Barcelona

Librería Gigamesh: This brilliant book shop in Barcelona is mainly geared towards subculture and all things geeky. They also have probably one of the widest selections of English books in Barcelona. With a cozy reading area, super friendly staff and a whole host of different genres to choose from, you could quite easily get lost here (intended or not!).
