Budapest Zoo – A great place to spend the day! This large zoo has tigers, orangutans, elephants, giraffes, native Mangalica pigs, a variety of reptiles, amphibians, and insects plus the largest flock of flamingos in Europe… along with a variety of other species! It’s very kid-friendly with animal shows and a petting zoo and adults will be able to enjoy the art pieces with stunning 150 year old heritage buildings.

Miniversum Budapest – See Budapest and Hungary like never before – On a super fun miniature 1:100 scale! The interactive displays, showing all of the iconic landmarks with a huge model railway will keep the little kids as well as the big kids (i.e your other half) entertained for hours. M5 Kalandpark – Let the little ones run off some energy as they have the time of their little lives at this children’s center. A bouncy castle, slides, trampoline, ball pit and so much more can be enjoyed in the playhouse. There’s also face painting, rides, go-karting, and soccer and for the adults, a welcoming cafeteria!

Budapest Eye – See the city of Buda and Pest laid out before you with a ride on the Budapest Eye. Stunning birds-eye views can be enjoyed from this touristic ferris wheel and you don’t have to worry about seeing it all in 1 go – You’ll get 3 rides around.

Margitszigeti Állatkert – In the middle of Margaret Island you can visit a small yet delightful zoo with free entry! See the storks, rabbits, peacocks, fallow deer, turtles, ducks and more all against the beautiful riverfront backdrop. Kids can enjoy a reasonably priced donkey ride too.

Tropicarium – The largest aquarium in Eastern Europe, families will enjoy a half day outing here as they explore the underwater world. See the ocean’s fish swim past you in the underwater tunnel and see who lurks in the several smaller tanks. You’ll see a variety of fish plus Leopard sharks – Be sure to time your visit so it falls during the live shark feed! There’s also a mini botanical area where you can experience a tropical storm simulation with alligators and snakes.
