Macarena Club: There is only one main room, but the friendly bar and good vibes make it an intimate experience. The music is underground electronic dance music, so if you’re looking for mainstream clubs, this place is not for you. If you are a fan, however, expect some of the best variety out there.

Apolo: Probably one the top three best techno clubs in Barcelona. There are comfortable balconies to take a breather from the different rooms at play here. Be sure to check out the Nitsa room, but the overall atmosphere here is electrifying.

Boveda: A great place for smaller concerts – usually bands with an alternative rock or indie vibe. Later on in the night, they provide a DJ set of the same genre in the form of a mix of Spanish and international rock and metal music. It’s great place to let loose and have a drink.

Razzmatazz salas 2 & 3: This multiple-room venue entertains guests both with concerts and a nightclub. There is always an event going on here with different varieties of music – on Wednesdays there is an “El Dirty” event you don’t want to miss. Be sure to grab a ticket before you come, but don’t worry, the ticket prices usually stay the same as pre-sale.

La Terrrazza: An open-air club that offers a unique experience to enjoy great techno music in a historic address of Poble espanyol. The musicselection and programming of various guest DJs (both local and international) are incredible. Be warned, you have to climb up what feels like a mountain to get here, but it is well worth the effort.
