Daily rates at the gyms in Chiang Mai are really affordable so there’s no need to skip a workout even if you’re only in the city for a couple of nights. With all the equipment of home, you’ll also find gyms offering some fun workout classes whether you’re into aerobics or CrossFit just beware that not all gyms in Chiang Mai are air-conditioned.

O2 Gym – A good affordable gym with all the necessary equipment for weightlifting and cardio that’s well maintained. It’s large and rarely gets busy meaning little wait time for the machines, if any and the staff are friendly with a mixed crowd of gym goers depending on the time of day you visit.
CrossFit Chiang Mai – Open 6 days a week and offering classes morning and night plus an open gym, CrossFit Chiang Mai has large, well-equipped and tidy facilities. From the coaches to the regulars, you’ll find a friendly, welcoming, and encouraging atmosphere with the added bonus of an onsite cafe.
Fitness Thailand – This world-class fitness center has the latest modern equipment and benefits from four aerobics studios which have panoramic city views city, a spin-class room, and a sauna and steam room so you can reward yourself after taking one of the many classes that are offered here or just working out freestyle on the machines.
T.M. Muscle Gym – An immaculate fully-equipped gym with plenty of cardio machines, heavy free weights, Muay Thai training plus a novel arm wrestling table. T.M Muscle Gym is competitively priced and very welcoming overall, a cool gym without being fancy.
MAGNUS Fitness Center – A fully equipped fitness center with new equipment and a bright decor scheme along with good music that will pump you up. Friendly English-speaking staff are on hand to help you at this clean and reasonably priced gym.
Skykick Muaythai Gym2 – This Muay Thai boxing training center is clean and bright and has great MT trainers (some English speakers) who will push you hard so you can leave feeling thrashed but contented! Private and group classes are held at reasonable prices.
Home Fitness – A fully equipped and very friendly and welcoming fitness center with a warm and bright interior. Work out at this affordable gym and you’ll get the benefit of a free personal trainer too who will help you reach the next level.
Harris Fitness Center – A stylish fitness center that’s competitively priced and has a wide selection of machines, a great selection of free weights, group classes that cover Zumba and yoga etc, and the added bonus of a rooftop pool that you can get a discount on.
Maxx Professional Fitness – A modern and stylish gym with lots of machines, light-medium weights, lots of yoga classes, and the added benefit of a sauna. Conveniently located, MAXX fitness is clean, safe, and has friendly staff.
