Lisbon has a range of municipal pools and hotel pools, indoor and outdoor, to choose from whether you’re a serious swimmer looking for an olympic-sized pool with lanes or just looking to cool down and splash around!

Orient Swimming Pool – A well maintained and good value indoor municipal swimming pool with lanes. They run a variety of kids swimming classes and water games as well as having free time whether you’re a serious swimmer or looking to spend some fun time as a family.

Municipal Swimming pool Ourique – Good swimming facilities and professional staff can be found at this 25 meter pool. Lots of classes and activities take place here so call ahead to be sure the lanes are open to the public. There’s a separate shallow pool for toddlers and kids just learning to swim.

Piscina Municipal do Restelo – A well-located indoor pool with friendly and attentive professional staff and high hygiene standards both in the water and out. A range of activities takes place including kids swimming lessons, hydrotherapy, CrossFit swim, kids water polo and more.

Municipal swimming pool Valley Fundão – A 25 meter indoor pool with a range of classes and activities for kids and adults including water gymnastics, water aerobics, water polo and more. During free swimming time, the pool has 6 lanes. A smaller, shallower pool is available for babies/toddlers and kids learning to swim.

National Club Of Swimming – This sports club has two indoor swimming pools, one of 25 meters and one of 17 meters, both are UV treated and are laned. It is primarily a swimming club with classes for those learning to swim and participating in training but also runs pool parties and special kids events during the holidays.

Complexo de Piscinas do EUL – Located on the University campus, but open to the public, this complex has 3 swimming pools, one 50 meter Olympic pool, one 25 meter pool, and a shallow learner pool for toddlers/kids. Swimming lessons, free swimming time and a range of water games, fitness, and activities all take place.
