The Block: This techno club has three levels and two main dance floors. It’s a good nightclub with a brilliant sound system that enables you to really enjoy the music. Look out for the Friday night special.

KULI ALMA: A nightclub for the alternative traveller, this is an interesting place that feels like many bars, nightclubs, and a film theatre all rolled into one. Their drinks are unique and tasty, and they do provide some food if you’re feeling peckish. This is a great bar with a hipster feel; it even has some hidden game consoles to take advantage of. Look out for the pop-up events that take place here.

Havana Music Club: This beautiful salsa club creates the right vibe for you to improve your dance moves. The instructors here are polite and kind; they provide organized lessons that are adapted to your level. After the lessons, check out the three different rooms, great music, and delicious cocktails.

Anna Loulou Bar: Although it’s specifically for those who love alternative Arab music, Anna Loulou Bar plays other genres, including reggae, Balkan, and rock. It’s a dark venue with loud music, but not so loud that you can’t relax, dance, and have some fun. The people attracted to Anna Loulou Bar are normally a welcoming crowd, which, along with the music, creates an electric atmosphere.

Alphabet Club: This is a club with great house and techno music and enhancing vibes. It’s usually pretty empty early on in the night, but once it hits midnight, it is full to the brim. Two separate dance floors create a dynamic space to dance the night away. The drinks are on the expensive side, but they are generous in their servings.

Gagarin Club TLV: A high-end sound system beats out drum and bass throughout the night. It’s a nice, underground-style concert and great party place that offers a fair price for the alcohol. Look out for events, as there are plenty of opportunities to go and enjoy jazz, rock, or other live music shows.

Duplex: Multiple dance floors and a large rooftop create an exciting space to drink, dance, and have a good time. Duplex hosts a lot of different parties, which are always full of energy, and the DJs pick out songs that everybody seems to enjoy.

Alma de Cuba: Here you’re invited to a Latin party in Tel Aviv – it is a place that would fit right into the Miami scene. Be prepared for a club that is packed with a party that doesn’t end until the early hours of the morning. There is an opportunity to book private booths and parties as well.

Bootleg: The friendly and young atmosphere here supplies energy mostly through techno and house music. The DJ selection brings the music to keep the party going, but when you need a break, there are two separate lounge areas to rest your dancing feet. This venue is quite popular, so expect a charge at the door and a crowd inside.

Radio EPGB: It’s a great place for listening to music that isn’t necessarily mainstream. Radio EPGB doesn’t normally start getting busy until around midnight, but once it starts, there’s a good chance that you will be up dancing until 6 in the morning! It’s an underground club that is pretty small, but usually provides a great atmosphere.

Haoman 17: This is a great venue for electronic music. It is a pretty standard club – a little on the small side, but with a designated dance floor, multiple bars, and great sound and light systems ‒ everything for an energetic night. The various events at Haoman 17 entice all different kinds of people – it just depends on the night you go.

Lima Lima Bar: Expect good music, affordable drinks, friendly staff, and plenty of space for people to dance. There is a back room for breaks from dancing, or an area outside to relax. It is a great venue to enjoy music, catch up with friends, or meet new people.

Jimmy Who: Designed to be unique, this bar is split into three different spaces, each with its own personality: a trendy bar, a pick-up bar, and a private VIP bar in the back. It has great music (expect electric beats) and a fun atmosphere.

Breakfast Club: A great, underground techno club in Tel Aviv, Breakfast Club has a young vibe and two different floors: one floor with a big dancing space, and the other is low-key and for recovery. As there are loads of parties with different atmospheres, make sure you check before heading over, so you know exactly what you’re in for.
