Tel Aviv’s Best Parks & Gardens

As an alternative to tanning away on the beach, why not enjoy some natural greenery in one of many Tel Aviv’s parks?

Yarkon Park: This treasured public space makes for a great family day out or a refuge from the crowds in the heart of the city.  It is a huge, sprawling park, so it’s not possible to visit every varied part of it in one day. You can rent boats on the lake and even go up in a hot air balloon. If you’re into exercise, you will be joined by runners, cyclists, walkers, rock climbers, and rollerbladers, and you can take advantage of the tennis and basketball courts. It’s no wonder this park gets around 16 million visitors annually.

There are playgrounds to distract the children and plenty of pubs and restaurants in the surrounding area to carry on your day when you’re finished chilling at the park.
