Tel Aviv’s Best Swimming Pools

There aren’t an abundance of public swimming pools in Tel Aviv due to water shortages and most locals opting for the free ocean waves but a few options do exist in the heart of the city, most being more formal options with lanes rather than suitable for ‘splashing around in’.

Here are the spots that made our list:

Gordon Pool – This large 50 meter outdoor saltwater pool in its seafront location is good for the serious swimmer as it’s separated into lanes. If you find it too crowded in the daytime, visit at night to have the pool to yourself. There’s also a kids pool and toddlers pool for the youngers to splash around in.
